Women's Ultralight Rain Jacket

6 reviews

Minimize bulk and maximize on-bike function. The Ultralight Rain Jacket performs just as well when it’s raining as when it isn’t. Threatening skies, foggy days, windy starts, and mountain descents are all fair game.

Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. Its important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.

We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. Youll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.

Machine wash cool, 86F (30C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.

Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.

Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.

Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Dont do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.

FAQ

How do your jackets fit?
Our jackets are patterned in the riding position, with a tight fit across the chest and arms with a more forward position. This is intentional to reduce flapping and extra fabric across the chest while riding. When standing, the jacket will feel tight across the chest, shoulders and torso. The arm length might appear long as well. However, the intended fit is tailored for on-the-bike positioning where the shoulders and torso no longer feel tight and the extra arm length hits the wrists in the appropriate spot. Constructed without extra fabric to flap around - it should fit tight over your jersey (with enough room for a long sleeve and base layer), but shouldn’t appear baggy. We select fabrics that have some elasticity to allow for freedom of movement even with a tailored fit to accommodate some range of fit within each size.

Excellent customer service

Garment did not fit despite using the size guide on the website when ordering. Then I had problems printing the return label. Anthony at Customer Service was brilliant. He organised the return label and refund quickly. Thank you very much.

The best feeling rain jacket!

Rain jackets are always a hotter piece when riding but this is the best I've ever used. It's so soft but keeps you as cool as you can when wet. Love the bright colour too!

Perfectly designed and advertised

The jacket sheds water and fits perfectly for on-bike positioning. The cut is truly women-specific and is made to be in a road riding position. Because it packs up so small, I never hesitate to add it to my bar bag on a potentially rainy day. Inside left pocket is perfect for a phone, as well - I don’t even feel it while I’m riding. Overall an awesome jacket!

Warm and dry

I have worn this jacket through a full night of pouring rain and it kept me warm and dry underneath. Love the high visibility of the color choice as well. I am normally a size XS in tops and I took a size S to have a longer fit at the back and allow for more layering underneath. This will be my go to "safety blanket" for high altitude adventures.

Great jacket

I love the color, I like the feeling. The material feels good on the skin, so I can use it not only as a rain jacket but also as a wind jacket on descends. Actually I would prefer an even smaller packable jacket but I think that function would not be as good anymore. During bikepacking trips, I often wear a small backpack after the last stop on a supermarket. That's why I need a jacket which allows this. Until now, everything great except that from time to time the jacked is slipping up a bit.
