Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. Its important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. Youll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86F (30C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Dont do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.
FAQ
How does the fit of your different jersey models compare?
All of our jerseys are intended to be a tight/tailored fit to minimize extra material. This has several benefits, including muscle support, minimal chafing, and improved breathability and wicking.
- Our Signature jersey has moderate compression and support but is less compressive compared to other models.
- Our SE is more compressive than the Signature in the sleeves but will feel similar otherwise.
- The Ultralight is our most compressive and supportive fit.
- The Radiator Mesh jersey is similar to our Ultralight, but less compressive through the torso/stomach area given the Radiator fabric.
- The CONCEPT jersey is our most aerodynamic and race-fit jersey, and offers slightly less compression than the Ultralight.
- The Micromodal is our least compressive, fitting like a slim-cut tee shirt.
What is the length and width of your jerseys?
Our jersey sizing is unique and is graded differently for each size. We design each element of the jersey separately for every size. Because of this, every jersey will have slightly different measurements depending on the model and its intended fit.
Our jersey models are intended to fit the same in each size with some variation due to different fabrics that have different feel and elasticity. We highly recommend following our sizing chart or shopping at one of our retailers to find your preferred size and fit.

As you open the package and touch the jersey, you can really feel the superb quality of the fabric. The fit is amazing and matches the sizing guide: I'm in the upper/lower end of two sizes and as I'm not a big fan of compression, I went for the biggest. 178cm/64kg and I use size S, which gives me a more relax fit. For sure I can get the XS, that would give me a more race fit. You can trust the guide! Rode in really hot days (30-35ºc) with a base layer under, and just needed to open in long climbs.

I don't often review products but I am making an exception for the Signature jersey (and bib-shorts). I am absolutely delighted with them. The quality is exceptional: perfect fit (I am tall and skinny, 1m95 and 78kg, M is spot on both for the jersey and the shorts) and super-comfortable. I have worn the kit during several long rides in 30º heat and it's been brilliant. And it looks great: nice colours, really understated with no big logos. The shipping was very fast. Overall, I am really impressed and I will definitely be buying more Velocio kit in future.

I had a couple of SE jerseys before in Large (I‘m 182 cm and 82 kg) and I just thought, I‘d give a try to a size M. I couldn‘t try it outside yet, but the fit is really awesome, I can barelly feel it. The new materials feel really soft. Can‘t wait for the spring to come and put it on outside. That’ll be my all-time spring jersey, I‘m sure
